For the fourth time I`m happy to be holding a retreat at Molino del Rey Retreat Center. I love this place and are very fascinated by the thousands of years old caves with a magic powerful energy and a silence that brings tranquillity and peace.
Molino del Rey Retreat Center is in the beautiful nature reserve “Sierra las Nieves” in Andalucia, southern Spain. A spring of the river “Rio Grande”is born at the entrance of the hamlet. From it, the purest of waters flow through the retreat centre, offering bathing facilities whilst surrounded by the wonderful fragrance of mountain flowers. There is a beautiful saltwater pool, sauna, a variety of lovely terraces, meditation gardens and relaxing hammocks.
The staff at Molino del Rey are friendly and very helpful to organise trips, for example to Ronda, hiking in the mountains, horse back riding in the mountains, or other wishes.
They also offer a variety of different kinds of massages.

Accommodation at the centre includes daily delicious and tasty vegetarian meals/buffet and snack. The rooms are en-suite, with air condition, comfortable beds, tea making facilities, hair dryers and safes. All rooms single/double are unique decorated, see the rooms here https://www.molinodelrey.com/accommodation/   Prices starts from 106 Euro per night per person and is to be paid directly to the centre at arrival by card or in cash. Álvaro Garcia – Cabrera Calvo, was born in Málaga, Spain. After studying university in Madrid and Rome for some years he was travelling around Europe and mostly in South America, where he first connected with the yoga knowledge and practice.
Back in Spain, while living in the Jaralón mountain, he started a more thorough study and practice of yoga under the guidance of great teachers like Enrique Moya, Miguel Bonal, Joaquín G. Weil and Rafael Valencia.
Rather than a mere physical or mechanical orientation and understanding of yoga they all shared a mystical and philosophical approach, always attending the holistic yoga vision.
For that matter, and in collaboration with the IAYoga (Andalusian Institute of Yoga), Álvaro has helped in the edition and publication of two books dedicated to the origin, philosophy and technique of the yoga history, which has also contributed to deliver several instructive courses throughout the years for those eager to share and learn/teach.
